![]() Besides, if everyone decided to use their mind power to heal their bodies, there would be no more business for medical experts and for pharmaceutical industry and that would be really bad for economy. Should a medical expert begin to tell you that you can create changes in your body with your thoughts (and that, as a matter of fact, your thoughts ALWAYS do influence your body), he might be in danger of loosing a license or a status as a respectable medical professional. ![]() ![]() Because 'normal' people (people on average) do not use their minds to effect changes in their bodies - what you're doing when you're creating changes in your body with your mind, has to be seen as abnormal. ![]() When you do effect a change in your body with your mind, then since the medical science has no explanation for such things in medical text books - according to them something weird happened - it's either an anomaly, spontaneous remission or some kind of abnormality. When thoughts and emotions enter the picture, then the experiment is considered 'non-scientific' because one's thoughts, emotions and beliefs cannot be appropriately measured. Indicating that you can grow taller, just as Milton Erickson made a man grow taller with hypnosis. ![]() And then there is a worldview entertained by medical science which looks upon the body as if it were a mechanical object, upon which thoughts and emotions have no influence. ![]()
